Most of my life I have been behind a camera looking at the world, capturing the moments that have helped define what my photography is today.  Since receiving my first Nikon camera in 1982, I knew photography would become my passion. Although many years have passed since then and technology has surpassed my old Nikon, being in the darkroom will always remain close to heart where I feel my creative juices flow.

My photography ranges from the beautiful places my extensive travels take me to capturing the love between two people on their wedding day to the hardship of life seen on the many faces of those sleeping on a corner street in downtown Charleston.  My work lends itself to being spontaneous, unexpected and alive with my hope that it also invokes a sense of peace.
